🥀___MAYA'S POV___🥀

After what happened a few hours ago in our house , I decided to stay at my friend's house and my husband is taking me there.

I am deciding to stay at her house for a few days but—I haven't told him yet about it but soon I'll tell him.

I was looking outside of the scenes of trees passing by, fresh air, silence on the road , cleanliness everything was cleansing my mind and I— was loving it .

That time he cleared his throat and I flinch a little and looks at his side.

He looks at me and smirks on his face makes me confused and I frown .

"Why is that smirk on your face?"

I ask him and he just exhales his breath deeply and his eyes focus on the road .

I sigh and look outside of the window and then..

KHUSHAAL - I see you're not what you always show everyone.

"what do you mean?"

I ask him again when he made me confuse with his statement!

KHUSHAAL - You are my Fierce rabbit , who is bold, fearless but still innocent. What you did with your step mother has shown your side which you belong to.

His voice and the words somewhere are teasing me about what happened but, there is still a strange softness and a reality check on it..

"Don't worry, you will understand it soon! "

He adds..

I sigh at his words , unsure about how to respond! But, somewhere I also, had that feeling of what I did there has shown something else of me.

I was on my own thoughts when he stopped the car —and I looked outside and here , we were at my besties house.

I immediately get out of the car and he too .

I rush towards the door and ring the bell in excitement as , I am happy to see her again after my marriage.

But, a part of me knows somewhere she will scold me as she didn't know anything about my marriage.

After sometime she opens the door and when she sees me her mouth wide open and gawks at both of us .

I look at my husband and he looks at me and I immediately move forward and hug her but, she doesn't react and I pull away, I realize —she was staring at him continuously.

I gulp down my saliva which was forming inside my mouth and they both were looking at each other continuously but, —their expression was different.

Akshita was having an angry yet cold expression while, khushaal was having confused expression.

Without thinking more, I said khushaal to go home back as I will be staying here with her and he agreed on it and left us .

I sigh in relief and I turn towards her and flinch a little as she was still angry and glaring at me —while I was looking like a scared kitten in front of her.

I look at her and blink continuously and fidget my index finger cutely and make puppy eyes cauze , I know she will fall for it.

And, like that it —works and she hugs me tightly and we share this moment for five minutes and we separate.

AKSHITA - Now, care to explain to me what in the world is going on and you got married —and didn't even care to tell me and sonu??

"Firstly we will eat something then , I will tell you the whole story" I said to her and she agreed on it .

We head to her room and she brings snacks and that's when our long conversation starts.

ONE HOUR LATER...

AKSHITA - OMG! Babe you are living every girl's dream life of having that type of husband!!

"Are you happy with this marriage??"

I ask her and look at her in a weird way , like how could she say that??

And she just winked at me , I sigh at her behaviour and start eating my leftover snacks.

AKSHITA - Wese kya plans hai aage ke?? Yaha rukegi ki wapis jayegi apne mia ke saath??

(By the way , what are your plans today?? You want to stay here or will return back with your husband??)

" I'll stay with you today! "

I said to her and she looked at me amused as she saw a ghost or something.

I raise an eyebrow, silently asking her to explain.

AKSHITA - Are you sure? I mean you don't truly know who he is but, I know him . Didn't he be upset about that?

" what do you mean? What do you know about him and I don't? "

I again ask her as she was beating around the bush .

AKSHITA - Leave it, you are his wife so, he is the only one to tell you not me.. so..., shall we go out to enjoy our day??

I look at her for a few minutes because I doubt she is messing with me about my husband's identity , he didn't tell me anything about him.

I sigh —and nod because I want to enjoy some days of my life with my best friend.

We got ready after twenty minutes and we sat inside Akshita's car and drove off to the shopping mall.

We arrived at the shopping mall and Akshita was more excited than me.

A small smile occurred on my face —

as, I am looking at my friend— who is being a baby whenever she comes to the mall.

She pulls me towards her and drags me to every shop like a baby is dragging her mother to buy her every toy she likes.

🥀___AUTHOR'S POV___🥀

After almost spending two hours at the shopping mall both maya and Akshita were exhausted and they have done extreme levels of shopping this time.

They were exiting the area when — maya shoulder collided with another woman , their bags fell down and created a mess.

They both crouch and pick up their respective bags , while the woman keeps taunting maya for being careless.

Akshita doesn't like the way she was talking and she pulls the lady's shoulder and her face revealing makes both maya and Akshita gasp .

She was none other than...

AKIRA MALHOTRA

Akira looks at maya more like observing her top to bottom — maya feels not so good vibe from her.

Akira smirks and moves forward towards maya , that makes maya to go backward.

AKIRA - So, Mrs. Rathore how do you feel after snatching everything from me and living this thief life of yours!?

Akshita and maya both look at her in confusion but, akira doesn't give a care and continues her talks in a rude way , which is fueling anger on Akshita .

MAYA - What are you talking about , I mean I didn't snatch anything from you! This is what my father wants to happen because of him and your mother , I am in this hell!

Maya was irritated with her talks that she didn't even care to face her and say the truth about what she feels and somewhere — Akshita was stunned , and feeling proud .

AKIRA - Look at you bitch! You have learnt to talk back at me , I'll kick your ass!!

And for your kind information, you weren't a choice , you are just a woman who was now sold to the rathores.

MAYA - W-what? Y.. you are..

AKIRA - Oh c'mon girl, you are sold to your so called mafia husband, he gave my father a vast amount of money to sold you to him and like always—

Your father is so greedy in money , that he didn't even think to sold you to him. He is well getting profit in his business after selling you.

I am lucky though that I didn't have to live your life ugh!! Bye bitch..

Akira left from their sight but, the fire she just engaged in Maya's life was worst .

Maya stumbles a little bit, akshita handles her.

A lone tear escapes from her eye , her mind was absent cannot even think what just she said — cauze it's hard for her to even think of getting sold.

AKSHITA - Maya let's go from here, she is just jealous of you that's it , don't take anything serious coming out of her mouth.

Maya nodded and they went back to akshita's home.

All the time , maya was silent , tears escaping from her eyes silently —like she is bearing the harsh words in her mind and expressing it through her tears.

She was devastated, shattered, the only word "sold" was echoing in her mind.

She doesn't want to believe akira's words but, the statement was so hard... That her mind was accepting it .

MAYA - This is w.. what y..you wanted t.. tell m-me? T-that I am sold t.. to a m-mafia?

Her voice broke in each word she said to her friend , akshita's heart was breaking seeing her maya bearing this much of pain.

AKSHITA - N-no maya, I didn't even know that.. that you w-were sold to that animal. Is he... Is he not treating you well?

MAYA - I.. am s-sold to him but, h-he is behaving nice to me why?

W-why did he do that with me?

Maya wipes off her tears and looks at akshita's in Fierce..

MAYA - I am not going anywhere with him now, I will stay with you for some weeks . I... I want him to tell me the truth by himself.

AKSHITA - And how will you be able to do that? Is he that easy to convince?

Maya sighs but smiles a little backing of the pain she is feeling till now.

“He will, if not emotionally than boldly! ”

she adds on her statement giving a full bold vibe of hers.

Akshita was seeing a different maya from what she had seen before.
